About Me

An inspiring and

passionate piano teacher

Natasha PG Cert (GSMD), ATCL,CERT PTC EPTA UK

Playing the piano has always been my passion. I studied classical piano and violin at The Royal College of Music in London.

I am an experienced music teacher, performer, and composer. I have worked as a piano teacher and in schools and music schools for over 20 years. I also worked as Head of Music at an international school in Singapore. I successfully completed the Piano Teacher’s Course at The Purcell School of Music in London with EPTA UK. Recently I was awarded The Postgraduate Certificate in Performance Teaching (with Merit) from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

As well as teaching I have performed professionally in the UK, and have had musical residencies in The Middle East and Asia. In 2010 I performed for HRH The Prince of Malaysia at The Hyatt Regency Hotel in Delhi, India.

Before opening Online Piano Academy, I was a piano teacher and ensemble leader at Peterborough Centre For Young Musicians which is part of The Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

I love teaching and playing the piano.

To develop my skills in pedagogy and piano performance even further, I have attended the following international summer schools

International Kodaly Summer Schools in England and Hungary

International Piano Summer Schools at Chetham’s in Manchester

I have taken lessons with world-class pianists James Kirby, Ben Frith and Nikki Iles. I am a member of The European Piano Teacher’s Association (EPTA).
